Over the years, we have delivered a diverse range of custom-designed towers and tower systems to clients who couldn't find suitable standardized solutions elsewhere.
One of these highly specialized systems is the BorealScat tower system, which you won't find in any 'catalog'. This system was commissioned by SLU, a subsidiary of Chalmers University in Gothenburg, Sweden. In broad strokes, the system comprises one of our standard square towers, enhanced with an advanced motorized head-frame and a rail-mounted antenna array. This configuration enables remote re-positioning of the array, facilitating a 3D study of forest water dynamics, using satellite radars as part of the ICOS network.

For the European market, we utilise Eurocode with the addition of national annex. Other design codes such as TIA can be provided on demand.
